introduction

berlin is a place that makes a strong impression. in this project, we took the idea of the city making an impression and looked for the most direct way that the idea could be translated into an object. the result is a pair of shoe soles in which the city has literally left it's impression. a particular spot in the city, at the address fuldastr 43, is recorded in the relief texture of the soles of the shoes. sd
